A Multi-layered approach to Internet Security.
Some Basic Must-Have's and Must-Do's for any PC user :
... these days having just an Anti-Virus or an Anti-Spyware or a Firewall does not suffice, what with the amount of internet trash going around. And I am referring to to tons of virus, spyware, trojans, worms, rootkits, spyware and what not, breeding on the net...not to mention the unwanted popup's, intrusions & phishing ! It is said there are at least 200 to 300 new variants a day ! With this, the days of definition based defense may well be numbered. Signature-based malware scanning, as we know it, will decline in effectiveness ! But still, at this point only a few of today's security suites include "BEHAVIOUR-BASED" protection !...
