Vista Search Gives Error Message : Search Failed to Initialize.
If on searching in Vista, you get a message : Search Failed to Initialize , here are some things you can try :

Before I reloaded the OS, I tried running "sfc /scannow" within the command prompt. This process took about 15 min but did end up fixing my issue.
