Restored Files Include No Documents
Hello all, I helped a friend restore files he had saved to an external drive using Vista's backup and restore tool. After relocating the mediaid.bin file to the backup folder, the restoration proceeded in a seemingly normal way. However, the restored files do not include the contents of the Documents folder! The sole item in Documents is a log I made while troubleshooting the PC. Could the fact that I saved that file to Documents before performing the restore have prevented restoration of the backed up Documents?
