Autorun error
Hello

I regularly use a cardreader to import pictures from my digital camera. I prefer to use import using windonws explorer.

However, recently whenever I insert the card reader nothing happens... ie the autoplauy feature does not enable. If I plug in the D20 camera directly it to the USB port the pictuers are automatically loaded into Photoshop.

I have checked the autoplay options for pictures and it is set to "ask every time". There is a button for my daughter's Canon 510, but no button for the D20 that I use.

Can anyone explain why it is not loading anything for the card reader and loading Photoshop for the camera?

Many thanks

Stuart

Fixed the problem
I just found an article on the web that described the registry settings for IE Autorun. I used PC TuneUP Utilities (well worth the $30) to access and view my registry... and found that the registry for Autorun was set to the value for Windows XP.

I set the Autorun registry it to the correct value for Vista and voila - Autorun works properly again.
