Recent PC freezing
I've just started noticing an apparently random freezing of my laptop. Task manager is unable to be invoked and I must perform a hard power off (holding power button down). After rebooting, the problem may occur in a couple of hours, or the next day. I'm trying to remember if there was an application hang or not, since I wasn't paying attention at the time. I've scanned for viruses, but nothing.
I'm beginning the process of restoring to a point prior to the recent updates on 2/14/12, just in case it is a SW update issue.
Anyone have a similar problem? HW particulars are in my profile.
