Lost All Data Files, personal settings, etc - HELP Please!

After performing basic maintenance (registry cleanup, update drivers, etc via UniBlue) I no longer have access to any of my data files, email accounts, etc. After my graphic card driver was updated as part of the maintenance, my daul monitor settings were out of wack. I resolved the monitor issues and after a reboot, none of my start programs were listed. Programs I've been using for years want be to get "set up". NONE of my data files are displayed. My email accounts are gone, including all personal folders. I suspect this problem has something to do with my "personal settings" If you agree, how do I restore my old settings? If not, what do you recommend? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
