Can the Forum help?
I have attempted to install a few games over the past year on my Windows Vista Ultimate laptop. I have always received the error, "Setup.exe is not a valid Win32 application", I would then research spam and virus tools buy something run it and no results. I would ask people and sometimes, someone would say the application is not 64 bit compatible, thus the reason for the error message. Thus I would give up and return the purchased product to the store. (Returning a software product is not a simple matter!)
Again, I have purchased a product, "Sid Meier's Civilization IV", This time my CD drive does not recognize the CD. But, my older desktop running Windows 98 does. ???
I tried another new program, "Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2", and I receive the error message, "Setup.exe is not a valid Win32 application", again.
Wish I could fix these things and not resort to returning the merchandise to the store. Can anybody help? Are these products incompatible with Window Vista Ultimate? Are their limited products that will run on Windows Vista?
Thanks to all than can help me with this problem!
