Partition Shenanigans
So I recently discovered, to my complete and utter embarrassment that my miniature C:\ drive, I am so angry at myself right now, has 150 gigs of unallocated space. I don't know, why or how, or if it has always been like that. I had to do a full system restore about a year ago, but that was in Afghanistan and needless to say i was distracted. Now I am attempting to dual-boot Fedora and Vista, (Another mess because my DVD drive is being pissy), I'm thinking using the 150 unallocated to use for the Fedora OS. It is only leaving me the option to format to NTFS, or to leave it RAW. Will the Fedora initial boot take care of that or do I need to do something else first. Or should I move the contents of the second HDD to the new partition, and keep Vista on one and Fedora on the other....and for that matter do i need to create two partitions to boot Fedora, one for the boot and primary files and the rest for programs etc.....If I do move the D:\ drive I would need a reliable way to move program files... Ha without a Vista Recovery disc. Any advice would be sincerely appreciated.
