Re: PaintShop Pro X2 vs Ultima
Here's a little addition:
Last night I came across a old PSP 9 CD and went ahead and tried installing it - loaded fine, runs fine.
Apparently Corel - as usual - has screwed up the programming in the later versions that were not made by Jasc.

My PSP X2 runs fine on XP, but I made the stupid mistake of not leaving XP on the system and installed Vista Ultimate as the only OS - I know dumb.. LOL
I can install PSP X2 fine, it's when I try to start it that nothing happens. I check the Task Manager and it's there listed supposedly running at something like 12,450 but there's no sign of it loading up or anything.
Somewhere someplace on the net I once found a post that said that there is one single Windows Update that conflicts with PSP X2 but for the life of me I can not find it.
I've been to Corel several times and posted my problem, got their STUPID answers and nothing has worked. I am running a Nvidia 8600 GTS Overclocked Vid card but had no trouble in XP, just Vista.
Any ideas?
