Change Administrator Password

Why does this have to be so difficult. I want to change the Administrators password. Logged on as Administrator I get an Access Denied error message. I've tried in safe mode, I tried under user accounts - to no avail.

So, how do you change the Administrators password and why is it so stupidly difficult?

Really dumb. I was able to log on to another account and change the Admin password - but logged on AS admin I could not. What is the logic behind that? Why would ANYBODY make a system work like this? Seriously. It makes NO SENSE. No wonder Vista is dying a sad death.
