erratic display after vista 64 install

I installed onto a gigabyte k8nsc-939 MB. Geforce 6800agp 128meg.
ram4gig. I had problems at first to run 4gig of ram from 2 gig, but found that ctrl F1 allowed more options to remap for 4 gig. Now after vista did some updates, my video card performance went down the tubes. It started out at a WEI number of 4.7 and now shows 3.2 with very erratic mouse movement. It is running directx 10, and I don't know if that is an issue, since it doesn't support it. This is a overclocked video card from BFG. I also set the aperture size to max of 512meg. I am lost on why the card is acting so slow.

I found the problem! When I removed the extra 2 gig of ram and disabled the 4 gig option in the bios, it is all running smooth now. I am still unhappy with the performance of only being able to use 2 gig on a board that allows 4 gig. Any ideas to fix this?
