how to make wireless adaptor turn off on shutdown
Hi i have been trying to sort out my wireless adaptor for a while so that it the power is cut when i shutdown windows vista ultimate 64.
It used to do this but now the light remains on untill i unplug it...it also means that to connect to the internet next time i boot up i have to unplug it and plug it back in.
Its not really a massive issue but thought i'd see if anyone knows how to do this....i guess i must of changed some setting at some point.
i have looked in the device manager and ticked the box 'allow the computer to shut down this device'....and have changed the power option so that the power saving mode is 'maximum power saving', but it doesn't change anything.
it is a D-Link adaptor with Vista 64 bit drivers.
Thanks
