Write caching
I've been looking for boot speed improvement ideas and came across one suggestion that I enable advanced performance on my hybrid drive.
To enable that option in device mgr/disk drive/,policies I will have to also put a check in "Enable Write caching on the disk" as well.
These options are available, however underneath "Enable Write caching on the disk" is the message " This drive does not allow its cache writing settings to be modified"
As I said the options are available meaning I can check the boxes for the above settings but I have no way of knowing if the settings are enabled or are working.
I have the Hybnd NV cache enabled by Group Policy.
