Complete PC Restore: System Recovery
Problem: Blue Screen Error Message (one of the many...)
This is exactly what I have done till this point:
First, I booted up my computer.
A black screen message came out saying "please press any key to boot from cd"
I pressed a key.
Then it loaded and went to the Windows Vista Installation window.
I clicked "repair my computer."
A screen came up with two buttons labeled: "Load Drivers" and "Next."
It regonized my operating system (windows vista) so i clicked next.
Now I am at the system recovery options with 5 options (startup repair, system restore, complete pc restore, memory diagnostic tool, and command prompt."
I've tried the startup repair but didn't seem to fix anything.
System restore is not an option because it says I have no dates I or it saved till now.
Diagnostic doesn't seem to work.
and I'm not too familar with command prompt.
I'm trying to restore my pc to its orginally factory settings. I click Complete PC Restore. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT I HAVE NO MADE ANY BACKUPS IN THE PAST. It doesn't have any dates or times it saved and a message relaying "could not seem to find a valid backup." There is a button that says "load from different drivers." I clicked it and when it goes there, I am able to open up files but have no idea which drivers to load nor what to do... can anyone please help me?
by the way, the windows vista cd is loaded on my top driver (d) and a cd containing the drivers and installations that also came is in the (e) drive.
Computer Specs:
Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit
VelocityMicro
Thank You!
