problem after installation of ultimate

Hi,

I had to reinstall windows and i did with ultimate and i had a home prem before...now it won't recognize the wireless LAN adaptor that is in my sony vaio VGN N365E laptop...

What should i do? i tried driver software, buit it wouldnt start..

EDIT: The HDD is now only 8GB free of space...that never happened before..I think...wasn't there a secondary HDD? (D:\)?

How old is your laptop? Have you checked Sony's site for updated drivers for your wireless adapter. Sounds like a driver issue that Vista was very known for after it's release. I would check that or at least try to find a driver that is compatible. Running wireless on my home desktop in Vista 64 bit I have to use a third party wireless driver because Linksys does not support my adapter and 64 bit.

Vista takes some space to install, each version I think is different size. Did you install 32 or 64 bit? In regards to the "other hard drive" if you do not have any other hard drive installed but one then it is a partition of your only hard drive. More-in-likely it is your system restore files.
