If you run Microsoft updates it can find most (not always all) of the drivers for your hardware. Most of the time it is the most up to date, but sometimes it is the version before. You may have to get some drivers from the vendors website. Normally when I reformat the only driver I know I need to have to install is the network driver. I run wireless on Vista Business 64-bit and my Linksys adapter has no 64bit support. I found and am using a compatible driver from another site to get it to work. Once I have networking and internet the other drivers are no problem. Having the original driver disc's can help too. Again may not be up to date, but should at least get you going.
