Page File Usage on 64bit Vista Ultimate
Hello, im new to the forums and i have just upgraded my PC to windows vista ultimate 64bit...
the thing that is bothering me is that im very used to how XP runs and like to check memory status as well as system itself... with that said windows XP page file usage would be about 300MB... as soon as i installed vista it went up to 1.25GB which i thought was way too much and thought my pc isnt going to run smooth but it does except when opening itunes, i havent tried games yet so can someone veryfied this know if thats normal... and also i built this system for gaming...
Here are my Specs:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83GHz
4GB OCZ Reaper Ram at 800MHz
XFX GTX 280
250GB 7200 RPM HD
500GB 7200 RPM HD for storage
Sound Blaster X-treme Gamer X-Fi Sound Card
and thats pretty much what i run
help is very well appreciated thank you.
