Error code 80070490

Hello all,
This is my first message in this forum to say hello, and also wish everyone a great festive period and 2009.

I also have a problem when trying to search for Windows Update: I keep getting Error code 80070490 and seem to mis out on updates.
Does anyone have a solution for this?
