removing security shield from some program icons
I have many programs loaded into Vista Ultimate 32 bit. A few of the programs have the security shield on them. Most of my programs don't. How do I get rid of the shield from these icons? They slow me down when I am trying to get things done. I run Sony Vegas 8.0c a lot and the shield is driving me nuts. Can someone help? Thx.

Re: removing security shield from some program icons
That easy ...
Just turn off UAC!!

Open Control Panel => User Accounts => Click Turn User Account Control on or off

or..

Open Start menu => type msconfig => go to Tools tab => click on Disable UAC => click launch ...
