Cant boot from installation disk

Hi All
Got a problem were I can’t boot from the installation disk, I press any key to boot from the disk and all seems to be working ok then when the bar reaches the end I get a BSD with error 0xD956870E, 0X0000000,0X00000000,0X888BA8D7

This is a bit worrying as, if I need to, I won’t be able to repair the boot up or reinstall an image if something goes wrong........help!

PS I recently tried out the new Acronis 2009 don’t know if that’s got anything to do with it.

Hi Guys.
Found the problem or problems, not sure which!
Yesterday I had some problems with my DVD drive and found that Alcohol 120% was the culprit so uninstalled it and, to be on the safe side, I also downloaded the latest firmware for the DVD and installed that.
This morning I wondered if fixing the DVD drive would have any effect on booting with the Vista disk....Yes all ok! .......... He says with fingers crossed!
