Vista Upgrade Disabled
I have Vista Home Premium, SP1 on a new Acer Laptop. Attempting to upgrade to Vista Ultimate 16bit. I get a upgrade disabled message. I don't want a clean install or to reformat the drive. Suggestions?

Re: Vista Upgrade Disabled
My suggestion is DO NOT upgrade to Ultimate..
I've tried it and if you have lot of programs, you'll got a super slow slow slow computer...
Cause windows installs all feature by itself..

Completely agree. Vista upgrades don't work, and you'll end up doing a fresh install a week later.
