2Wire wireless adapter problems

I recently built my a PC. Everything works fine except the wireless connection. It connects with no problems when I first start the machine but then after about 15 - 30min of use I lose connection for no apparent reason. I am an AT&T U-Verse customer and when the tech installed everything he gave me the 2Wire wireless usb adapter. I have the most current drivers from the 2Wire website. Any solutions?
