vista ultimate 64 bit, windows update error 0x8024400D

Hi I can't update my system anymore I have tried some solutions, register dll or delete directories(I wish i hadn't deleted the content of softwaredistribution's folders, I can't see the update installed in history now..)

Deleting the SoftwareDistribution folder is an action that works best when paired with stopping some services first. Others may know of more, but I at least stop the WindowsUpdate and Cryptographic services before deleting the directory. Restart the computer, and that usually fixes most update problems.
