installation problem

Hi ! I am new to u all and for vista too. I can't install vista ultimate 64 bit. error " CDDVD driver not found" i have sata hdd & sata DVD. Pre installed vista home 64 bit HP Media Center PC i have. I want to install vista ultimate 64 bit. if i am using usb DVD drive than i got error "No HDD found".
Pls guide me for this.
