Write protection

Hi everyone!

I am new to this forum, so I don't know where to post this question, please forgive me.

I have Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit and I regularly get the error message
"Error: Cannot write ..... Please remove the write protection!"

whenever I try to move a file to f.i. Program Files.
It has nothing to do with a write protection of an external harddrive, just the internal harddrive of my laptop.
This is an annoying thing of Vista and so far I have not been able to solve it. Can anyone help?
