WMP error C00D11B1 I will not give up!!!!

Hi Fellow Vista users.

I just recently installed VU. I rented a Drm protected WMV (video) file and could not play it in WMP.I recieved the C00D11B1 error which Microsoft tells me it is related top my sound card? I checked and tried everything.

I have no problem playing any type of video except for the DRM protected.

I feel it has to be another Vista DRM incompatability issue.

I do not want to reinstall my OS or run XP in Virtual machine
or edit my reg.Please will someone help me.
