away mode problems
Hi there. I have vista installed on a diy media center machine. I have it set to automatically goto away mode after about 5 mins of inactivity but have recently turned off the timer. My problem is; sometimes after putting the machine into away mode (either by doing it myself or by time-out) the machine refuses to come back. For example i can be watching tv and i can click it to away mode because i'm running outside, when i come back and click it to wake up everything spins up just fine however my screen is blank. Keyboard controls don't work and neither does the mouse; the only way to get back into it is by cold rebooting it.
Its not always; and doesn't matter when or how long its been away.
Its not doing anything in the background at the time of the event and has very few installed programs.
This has happened since the installation.
