problems with RealPlayer streaming
I have downloaded videos from the internet and am having a hard time playing them without them being out of sync and then they slow way down and just go frame by frame. I used windows media player first and it does the same thing. I also have a problem connecting to my big Screen HDTV with RealPlayer through my HDMI cord. It shows me the bars on top and bottom so I know its projecting, but will not show the video. Media Player shows the video. I have a new Dell M1330 XPS laptop computer with a 200 7200 harddrive and 4 mb of memory and supposed to be a great video card 128MB NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS, and a very fast processor so I don't know what the problem is. Is there a fix for this.

it might be a codec problem. Try downloading a codec pack and installing it. It might also be out-of-date realplayer. It sounds like its a software issue and nothing to do with the hardware. Also if you can, try to convert the files to another format and playing them, it may take alittle time to do but could save you a headache
