Can't switch users from Task Manager

When I try to switch users from within the Task Manager, I receive a message saying "Unhandled error occurred while connecting. #5 Access is denied." This error message appears after entering the password when trying to connect.

Both accounts that I'm switching to and from are administrator accounts, and both have passwords. Switching users by using the start menu is possible, but I find it's faster to switch using the Task Manager. Why is this happening, and what can I do to get it working?

I hope you already found out how to do this since you posted this so long ago. When you go into task manager, you need to go to the process tab and select show processes from all users. You will then get the administrator authenticate window. After you authenticate you will be able to switch users. I know, this is amazingly intuitive, isn't it....
