Assorted errors posted in the ACEEvent Log

This is another mystery from the Vista Event logs. There are anywhere from 4 to 6 errors posted following each restart of the system. The details are meaningless to me; they always seem to implicate some ATI software or driver. I have forwarded all the detailed log information to ATI for review, but have not yet heard back from them.

The installed ATI graphics card is an HIS ATI Radeon X1950 Pro 512MB, with the most current Vista drivers from ATI [V8.401]. ATI Catalyst software is also the most current version, V7.8

Anyone else with an ATI graphics card having a similar issue?

what is the make and model of your Motherboard?

I have an Intel D975XBX2 motherboard with an E6600 processor and 2 GB of DDR2-PC6400 [800Ghz]. The only other addition is the ATI X1950 Pro-512MB graphis card. All Intel drivers and Bios are current from Intel.

To close this thread out, I should indicate that the error logs have cleared. I cannot say I understand what occurred, but they are gone. I uninstalled Intel Quick Resume drivers, even though Quick Resume was disabled in the bios, but the ACEEvent log errors went away.
