logging in under a hidden account on ultimate

Hi,
I'm using Vista Ultimate. I created a hidden account. The account is now hidden but I cannot login into it as I could do via XP i.e by 2 x Ctrl/Alt/Del. No other account is logged in. I've tried the hidden user as both admin and user but
to no avail. Win/L also does not work.

Has anyone actually been able to hide the user from the logon\ welcome
screen and then still been able to log into it via the "Welcome Screen" with
Vista? I could really use some help.

Hi nevelga,

try this....

Open the Advanced User Accounts panel by typing in netplwiz into the start menu search box, and hitting enter.

Then click the Advanced tab and you should see a Secure Logon section, there will be a tick box with "Require users to press CTRL+ALT+DEL"

Thanks - I tried this but it didn't work.

I did, however, find a way to log in...it took alot of digging and alot of time and it's not the prettiest trick I've ever pulled, but it works....

Sorry wich way you find? I have the same problem. I've made the administrator account hidden through registry, now I have only a user account, with no way to modify the situation.
