Also; that this is a first for me. I've never posted a thread, never blogged and I don't use face book or twitter. I'm sure that sound crazy to more then a few especially in this the age of the "Web".
I'm 38 yrs old; and I just recently realized what I want to be when I grow up or what my purpose in life is; I believe that was the hardest thing I've had to do in my life. The not know; I think what I want be is a programmer.
Well, anyway I'll get to my problem:
I just recently aquired a used Compaq Laptop about a 1yr or so old. I'm trying to unstall willing webcam (trail version) because I just bought a MSLifecam.
and before I install the new software. But the problem I'm having is when I click the unstall button "cannot open istall.log" pops up I've tried and tried reinstalling W-webcam and it still does the same thing.
I found this info on another site which said to do this:
1.- execute from
http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...629c/msxml.msi
the MSMXL 4.0
2.- then proceed to execute the update, from
http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...936181-enu.exe
Agian; I truly am beginner so I wondered how windows installer would help whic it didn't fix the problem. I'm also having a hard time finding the directory that the install file is in. Any help would be truly gratefully appreciated. Thanks
