Recycle bin

deleted it off vista ultimate and cant find it now. can someone help?

4. checkmark the box in front of Recycle Bin.

That's it. If the bin does not show full when you have deleted something, or it does not show empty when it should, post the problem in this forum.

That is the best way I would suggest doing it too. However sometimes step 4 may already be check marked, so uncheck it, click apply button, and then check the box again and click apply. That should take care of it.

I had this problem and I resolved it with Vista Manager. Originally I deleted it in error using a shredder. It has disappeared occasionally from my desktop but refresh gets it back.

Try this:

Right click on the desktop and click "Personalize" on the context menu.

On the left hand frame click "Change desktop icons". Now click on Recycle Bin (full) and click the "Restore Default" button. Do the same for Recycle Bin (empty).

If this doesn't fix the problem them go back in and change the icons to different icons, apply the change and then change them back. This should reset everything.
