Vistaheads Tip#8 - How to disable the Animation for Minimizing and Maximizing Windows in Windows Vista

1. Right-click on Computer and select Properties.

2. Select Advanced system settings.

3. When the UAC prompt comes up, click Continue.

4. Under Performance, click the Settings button.

5. Under the Visual Effects tab, uncheck the Animate Windows when Minimizing and Maximizing checkbox.

6. Click OK.
