How to set your shortcuts to automatically run as administrator
Right-click the shortcut you wish to modify and select Properties.
Click Advanced on the Shortcut tab.
Select "Run as administrator" and press "ok".
Press "ok" again, and now you don't have to do a "run as" anymore.

Hi flayofish,

thanks for the tip.

It is handy and maybe out there somewhere is a setting to make all new icons have this ticked as default,

regards

Steve
