Repeating error
I just recently restored my HP Media Center PC m7747c system back to factory conditions. This system is running Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit. I have problem after problem since this reinstall. I usually use the Black Viper web site to limit the amount of unnecessary services. What a disaster that turned out to be. I was getting so many errors and problems that I had to revert to the default service settings. Now I am getting one particular error that has me worried. This repeating error shows up in the Event Viewer under "Custom Views\Administrative Events". The Event ID is 1108, the source is "Event Log" and the Task Category is "Event processing". I am posting a copy of the XML report on this event below and then the description from the General tab of the event below that:
- <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event">

<EventID>4634</EventID>

</EventProcessingFailure>
</UserData>
</Event>

The event logging service encountered an error while processing an incoming event published from Microsoft-Windows-Security-Auditing.

I cannot find any decent information on the cause of this event. I am hoping that someone has a clue as to what this error means and what I can do to solve the problem.
I feel as though I am one on the last people on earth who still uses Vista. I am not ready to buy a new computer and move onto Windows 7 yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
