Critical Security Updates Not Installing

For some time now Windows Update has been offering/sending me some critical security updates that do not install. I keep getting the Error Codes 643 and 646. I am worried that my computer is vulnerable. I notice that there has not been any postings on here for a while so I hope that someone will see this and can give me some advice.
