vista HP Windows Restore - Backup disk ext drive not accessible
I did clean re-install - grrr - and when I try to restore Backup fr ext WD Drive using windows Backup& Restore, I get advice 'disk not accessible - turn on/connect'? or offered 4r old backups depending on whether i select "from another computer" or other alternatives.
Cd someone pls advise, I suppose someone has figured these probs out yrs ago?
I upgraded from Home Basic to Home Premium believing I had read taht this would enable me to access my desktop from a laptop running W7 & did the clean re-instal on advice from the seller of the disk!
Puzzled 80 yr old beginner.
