ATI Radeon HD 3650 driver

I purchased Uniblue's Driver Scanner and when I scanned, I was told that my ATI Radeon HD 3650 driver was out of date. I know that this is a graphic card driver - but is it essential to be updated? I don't do any gaming because I'm of an age when this isn't my preference. Any help would be appreciated.
