System Restore problem
I have been trying to restore my pc to a time before I unwittingly downloaded something that has caused some problems. I create a restore point but every time it just restores it to the present day, which is no good. I checked both online and in a windows vista book to find out what I'm doing wrong, but as far as I can tell, I'm doing it correctly.
Can anyone suggest what I may be doing wrong, I have lost count of how many times I have redone it but always the same, it confirms that it's restored to whatever the present date is, usually about an hour before the present time, it's driving me round the bend.
