side-by-side-configuration invalid problem

Hello forumers,

i am new here. But i have a big problem which is as follows:

when i try to start my windows live messenger (msnmsgr.exe) and others i get the following report.

"Activation context generation failed for "C: \ Program Files \ Windows Live \ Messenger \ msnmsgr.exe". Error in manifest or policy file "" on line. A component version required by the application conflicts with another component version already active. My problem is: I don't know how to solve it, but seems to me an assembly conflict. I have already tried many options but not to avail. i will be greatful if someone could help me with few hints. Many thanks for your time in advance.
