Fails to Boot from Sleep (64-bit)
Since the past 2 weeks, my Alienware Area-51 m15x notebook has been having issues booting up from standby (sleep) mode.
When pressing the power button to boot up the device (or by using the IR remote), the illuminated keyboard lights up, fans whirl, and the computer seems to boot up; however, the display does not power up or even so much as flicker. I press the power button again in hopes it will go back into standby, but it just shutsdown; losing all my unsaved data from running programs. Ever since, my computer has never been able to exit sleep unless I immediately power up again after entering standby mode(3 sec after max).
Any possible solutions that do not require a reformat and a fresh install? (over 400GB of data on the 500GB HDDR, recovering will take a day)
