Login screen pops twice
for couple of weeks now my laptop shows the login screen twice. first time the screen stays for about 10sec. then the screen goes black, then login screen is back after 15-20sec.
if I type in my password in the first showing of the screen, it is "remembered" and the second login screen shows it filled and signs me in quickly.
further, after the login, the desktop is very lazy - toolbar appears and disappears, wallpaper is now here then gone, then back and slowly all icons and toolbar get together.
I didn't install any new software for ages, except Vista (home premium) updates, firefox updates, Avira updates and AdAware updates.
I have found Q&As about 2 sets of same user accounts/pictures showing in the login screen, but can't seem to find anyone having 2 login screens  any ideas? |
