Can I view the contents of the clipboard?

If so, please give details.

If you have word installed, just open it and the Clipboard selection should be there. I have Word 2007 and when I open it, the Clipboard selection is in the left pane.

I think that you are referring to the Windows Clipboard. I was tring to view the clipboard used by Vista.

However, I found the link that you suggested very helpful. I have learned that Vista does not have a clipboard viewer installed, but that one can be downloaded.

Vista is Windows on your machine so I don't completely understand. There's only one clipboard that I know of. XP has a clipboard viewer and if you have access to the XP machine you could copy the viewer to Vista or Win 7.

As an example, MS Word has an 'Office Clipboard' that works with Office applications only.

Vista (Windows) has a clipboard that works with all applications.

I have downloaded clipbrd.exe and have placed in in Windows/system32 directory.

The programme works well, but I have noticed that Office Clipboard no longer works. It appears that clipbrd.exe has taken full control.

I wonder if it possible to have both working?
