Clicking Recycle Bin = Application not found

Running Vista Home Premium SP2.

Like an idiot I tried to install an early version of Norton Utilities (ran on Win2k and WinXP). I ignored the incompatability warnings until the installation finally failed. However, the installation was partially installed, so I then manually removed all folders regarding Symantec and Norton, and deleted all references in the Registry that I could find for Symantec, Norton, nutilities, and Norton Utilities.

Rebooted and found that clicking the Recycle Bin resulted in an Explorer.exe message box stating, "Application not found."

Any thoughts as to how I can resolve or troubleshoot this problem?
