Can I download Complete PC Backup and Restore?
I have only been on a computer for about a year or so and I'm a little short on procedures and fixes, I have a Dell 1545 Inspiron laptop with a Vista Home Premium OS on a 68 bit platform. I downloaded a virus that corrupted my files and the hard drive had to be wiped and restored, before I go any further with the computer I want to back it up. I have found that the Home Premium program only backs up files but not programs that have been downloaded, the Complete PC Backup and Restore program in Business and Ultimate Vista programs can. So I'm wondering if I can either download the Backup and Restore program or Business/Ultimate OS to take advantage of it, preferably a free download. If I can't do that is there another free program that can download that will do the equivelent of MS's Backup and Restore program? Thanks for any help or suggestions.
