Vista unauthorized?
Due to a virus we had to reinstall Vista on a Toshiba laptop unit which came with same preloaded.
The next day after doing so, an error box showed up 0xC004D401 stating an unauthorized change was made to windows bla bla bla
I can no longer download internet files without them disappearing into 0 byte files which cannot be removed
The serial number provided to MS is valid and I would appreciate some direction as to what to do next. I really dont want to start over.
Ideas anyone? they certainly would be appreciated....... I am a rookie at this  |
