Start up programs
When you install Microsoft Security essentials it turn Defender off which you need to get to software explorer that tells you which programs run on start up. Is there any other way to find out this information? Thanks!

I used msconfig which worked and also found a free programs Autoruns which is rated highly by Cnet.
