change login/welcome screen
Hello!
After 3 1/2 years I'm tired of seeing the same bilious screen when I logon to Vista (I have Home Premium).
I note that Windows 7 offers a variety of welcome screens, but when I try to download the link, I'm told that Vista doesn't accommodate it!
There must be some other way I can place a different picture than the one imposed by Vista, circa 2007.
...I don't need a different desktop/background screen once I've managed to logon; I have my own chosen picture that serves me well there.
Does anyone know how to cancel that unwelcome Vista "welcome" screen?
