Windows Problem HELP!!!!!!!

I keep getting a error message that goes on forever....
it says Rundll32 has stopped working. I click on help and I see that it is a codec no longer supported. What can I do to get this to stop. I have many videos of my Grandson and when I try to do something with them this error drives me CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!
